Easter and some photography experimenting

I’ve really wanted to experiment with photography, but of course I don’t want to splash out on an expensive, posh DSLR, especially because I don’t even know if I’d be able to make the most of it. Luckily, the in-laws have such a beast, and allowed me to borrow it to play with. This coincide with Easter weekend, so it seemed a perfect opportunity to capture some of those colours that I like so much.

My daughter (also known as “the girl”) had a free easter egg decorating kit from Build-a-bear workshop a few weeks ago, so out it came this morning. As she decorated some hard boiled eggs, and “the boy” did some drawing & colouring, I started snapping away…..

All in all, I’m pretty happy with my experiments! Now I think I know what I want for my birthday……..
